After 4 years of exclusively dyeing commercially processed combed top to offer to handspinners my dream of having a mini-mill came true! In 2024, from January-August, We remodeled the shop on our property to create a 700 sq. foot fiber art studio so I could set up a larger dyeing station, a scouring station, and get the awesome milling equipment from Brother Drum Carder in Silverton, Oregon. I officially launched made-from-scratch roving and batts dyed in my colorways using raw fleece I source from all the great shepherds and wool growers in my area, the PNW. I currently don't process fiber for others because I'm focusing on creating my own blends and items for handspinners available in my shop, but that may be a possibility in the future!
